Kacie started taking dance classes at 3 years old at Campbell’s dance studio in Mesa, Az. She took jazz, ballet, and hip hop up until she was 11 years old. She would often make the company groups in which she was able to perform at state fairs, many recitals, and large events. She performed in the nutcracker as a young girl and loved every minute. Kacie was constantly making up dances with her sister and having her Mom record them.
When she was 12 years old she moved to Snowflake Az, where she started taking dance classes and joined show choir at Raising the Barre in Snowflake. In junior high she performed in many plays and won best actress her 8th grade year. At the end of her 8th grade year she tried out for cheer and made it. She cheered at varsity level for her high school for three years and was Captain of the team for 2. She taught cheer at her local dance studio as a high school student and even had the opportunity to dance at a Phoenix Suns basketball game. She went to many dance camps her high school years and learned to love Hip Hop even more.
As an adult, Kacie is now married with four children. Her love has always been her family and dance. Performing and teaching are her passions. She recently performed in the “Saturday’s Warrior” play. Her Dad always teased her for dancing all over the house growing up, and that habit never changed. You can find her dancing and doing dishes all at once. Kacie looks forward to working with these amazing students this year and helping them not only learn to love hip hop and have that same passion she does, but to also grow as a person and help them see their potential. “Darling, don’t ever be too shy to dance your heart out.”
